Unilib Enterprises Pte. Ltd. was established in the year 1982 with 4 partners, having to cater industries with quick and easy solution. Hence in year 1985 due to the economic changes, the company starts to diversify to power electrical product servicing offshore drilling platform and further expand to diesel power generation plant.
In year 1989, Unilib Automation Pte. Ltd. was established. Its purpose is to target the general industrial needs, thus provide solution for automatic control system using the latest technology and control components. This also applies to oil and gas industries, process control and plant monitoring.
In year 1990, Unilib Control System Pte. Ltd. was established. Its purpose is to further enhance the market capturing the expending needs of the diesel power generating plants in other sectors, having a production factory at Pandan Loop.
In year 1992, the management had made a decision to further concentrate and more focus on the diesel and gas engine power generation and power house related controls, LV & HV switchgears.
In year 1996, in order to put the production and office in one roof, thus reduce communication gap and minimize the time loss and further enhances the production quality, Unilib Control System had invested to purchase the current unit – 32 Gul Drive.
In order to gain more efficiency, in fact the whole office operation systems have been back-up with computer aides’ device and all engineering design and drawings had used the latest AutoCAD software. Notwithstanding, the company had invested a CNC punching and bending machines, arc welding instead of argon welding, it’s reason is to improve the productivity as well as products quality.
With all the tireless efforts putting in, so as to ensure customers’ satisfaction, in early year 2000 the company was granted a Quality System ISO 9001 standard. Two years later a higher standard of ISO 9001-2000 was granted.
Unilib Group has high standards for quality. We have a rigorous quality control system in place to test products at every stage, from raw materials to the finished products. All materials coming into our facility are thus installed into our finished products and undergo stringent tests to ensure they are the highest quality. Any materials that don’t meet our standards are rejected and immediately sent back to our dealers.
Our QA covers all activities from design, development, production, installation, servicing to documentation. It introduced the sayings "fit for purpose" and "do it right the first time". It includes the regulation of the quality of raw materials, assemblies, products and components; services related to production; and management, production, and inspection processes. Unilib Group’s on-site Quality Assurance ensures that each product leaving our door meets our standard as well as customer’s standard quality.
We carried out package diesel and natural gas engine generator set for customers as per to customer’s specification. Our motivated and talented engineers shall make every effort to study every detail concerning your specifications. In circumstances where we are not able to answer to the customers’ needs, we shall provide with alternatives. Notwithstanding, our engineers will assist to supervise the workshop fabrication work in detail as per to the approved drawings given by the customers. Carry out workshop testing together with our technicians, invites customer to perform factory acceptance test, prepare all necessary documentations, operational and maintenance manual submit for customer operation use. Commissioning the generator set at customer’s place and provides trainings for customer operation and maintenance teams, handing over the package unit to customer. Our technicians and mechanics will assist the customer by looking after the unit during its operation by establishes with operation and maintenance contract, eventually helping customer establish their own service and maintenance teams to looking after their generator sets.

Our state of act generator control system is based on our accumulated experience with our continued R&D, by implementing of microprocessor (PLC) base for the generator control system. These control system can be of independence or net working. The systems also provide with great facility and easy for customers to select either isochrones or droop operation in island mode, alternatively customers also can select isochrones, droop or isochrones/droop load sharing mode. All our generator control system equip with fully automatic and manual operation, this is to let customers select the operation way they desired.
On top of the generator control system, we include the master control system. Its function is to perform the power plant operation, which include power management, load monitoring, auto load demand, auto or manual generator start/stop command, auto or manual synchronizing of the incoming generator set, load and unload command, load add and load shedding, data collection and processing, sending data and information to Supervision Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

Our SCADA system using a reliable industrial or personal computer is operating on Windows operating platform with a power full data acquisition and control software, net working with the Generator Control System and Master Control System collecting all data and information of the power plant, and provide operators with power generator plant information in remote location. Our SCADA system provides numbers of graphic page, each graphic page carrying with different information of the power plant operation, this information are as follows:

We undertake in the fields of diesel and gas engine power plant, small & medium thermo plant. The power plant is also able to include a heat recovery system. Its main function is to recover heat for hot water or steam and driving the air conditional chiller or low pressure turbine. A complete service from Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Election, Testing and Commissioning - all these works are based on or mutual services of project management and design engineering department.
Our manufactured HV and LV Switchgear are based on customers’ requirements in accordance with our quality procedures. This is to ensure reliable products and cost effectiveness. All our products switchgear is designed in such a way that it is safe and is operable with low maintenance. To be exact, all components used for the switchgear are from reliable recognized source.
| Motor Control Centers (MCC) |
Our motor control center is a free-standing and has a modular design. It is subdivided into three compartments - the Busbar compartment, Equipment compartment and Cable compartment. Busbar compartment where the Main horizontal and vertical Busbar are located. Equipment compartment house all the electrical components and Cable compartment house all the terminals for cable connection. The motor control centers design can be of a draw-out or fixed versions for indoor application. Various type of starter can be housed in the motor control center are: Direct On Line starter, Forward Reverse starter, Star / Delta starter, Autotransformer starter, Soft Start Unit and Variable Frequency Drive. All the operating handle or control device are mounted on the front panel cover.
